How Our Story Began
Handmade Bow Tie was founded in 2010 as a family-owned boutique in Los Angeles, California.
What began as founder Sara’s passion for design and handmade craftsmanship gradually grew into a destination for distinctive bow ties and coordinated accessories. From the beginning, the purpose was simple: to create pieces that feel personal, beautifully made and worthy of life’s most memorable occasions.

Meet Our Founder, Sara
Sara founded Handmade Bow Tie with a professional background in Design, Graphic Design and Business.
Her experience brought together the creative and practical sides of building a brand: understanding color, proportion and textile design while also recognizing the importance of personal service and attention to detail.
She believed that an accessory should do more than complete an outfit. It should express personality, connect people and become part of the story behind a special day.
